Single night bookings in public holiday periods: Only bookings for two nights or more will be accepted during these periods. Bookings for a single night will only be available at the host’s discretion. Please enquire for more information.

Check availability and book online

If you wish to check that one of our suites is available you can do so by pressing the “Check Availability” button. If the room is available you can go ahead and book online, or if you want to ring and book directly with the hosts you can do so on 03 9728 3218.

Booking online requires a credit card and full payment up front, if you need to use a different payment method or would like to pay only a 50% deposit now, just phone and discuss payment options with the hosts. Deposits are not accepted for one night bookings.

Accommodation Package

The following extras are also included in price of your stay:

• A light afternoon tea on arrival (between 3pm and 5pm only).
• A fully cooked (or continental) breakfast of your choice. See our extensive breakfast menu.
• Complimentary transport to and from any local restaurant or function venue within a 10 km radius of Kalorama (exclusive to guests currently staying at Holly Gate House).

This accommodation is not suitable for children and restrictions apply. Please contact us before making a booking or refer to our Terms and Conditions. Pets are not accommodated.

Check In

• Check in: 3pm (unless prior arrangements have been made with your host)
• Check out: 10am (an extra charge of $25 is required for late checkout)

Visa, Mastercard, or EFTPOS (at check in time). Direct transfer into the bank – details given upon booking.

Cancellation Policy

Online Bookings

• Bookings made directly through the online booking button on Holly Gate House website and subsequently cancelled prior to 7 days of arrival date will have the payment refunded less a $40 administration fee.
• Forfeiture of first night booking fee for cancellations made within 7 days of arrival.

Phone and Email Bookings

• Bookings made directly to Holly Gate House by phone or email and subsequently cancelled prior to 7 days of arrival date will have the payment refunded less a $40 administration fee.
• If the booking is through a site which requires a surcharge we will also add that to the administration fee.
• Forfeiture of first night booking fee for cancellations made within 7 days of arrival.

Please note if a payment is made by credit card then the guest must show the card on arrival to confirm payment, and that any accidental overpayments can only be refunded on the original credit card used, after the guest has stayed.

Booking Services

• If bookings are made through a booking service, the deposit or full payment is non refundable, dependant on amount of payment made at time of booking.

During the summer months, we reserve the right to cancel bookings on a ‘Code Red’ or ‘Extreme’ fire danger day if it is not safe to come into the area, and you will be contacted prior to your arrival if this unusual occurrence is imminent

• The "General Store & Australia Post" is the closest to Holly Gate House and is situated across the road from the Tennis Courts at Kalorama. It has a CBA withdrawal facility (distance 1km).
• Bendigo Bank ATM in Olinda Village (distance 6km)
• NAB ATM in Montrose (distance 5km)
• ANZ ATM next to Olinda Pharmacy (distance 6km)
